What is PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma is prepared from a sample of your own blood, processed to concentrate platelets in plasma. Platelets carry signaling proteins and growth factors involved in the body’s normal response to tissue injury. PRP is not a stem-cell product, and it is not appropriate for every condition — outcomes depend on the indication, technique, and patient.
Precision joint injections
For knees and shoulders that need more, PRP can be placed precisely into the painful joint, where platelet growth factors participate in the body’s normal repair response. Injections are guided, quick, and performed without surgery or downtime.
For selected patients, we also discuss allogeneic human cell and tissue products — donor umbilical-derived biologics — candidly, with their evidence, limitations, and regulatory status reviewed at consultation.
